Julia Patterson

Girls Summer Leadership Academy
Julia Patterson is currently a sophomore at Bowdoin College. She was recruited to play soccer there after having led the Hingham High School Girls' Varsity Soccer Team to its first ever State Championship. After her first soccer season on the Bowdoin Women's Varsity Soccer Team, she was awarded NESCAC Rookie of the Year. Besides soccer at Bowdoin, Julia is a member of the Love Your Melon Club, the Polar Brain Alliance, and the Bowdoin Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, and an employee at the Bowdoin School Store. She also is an avid volunteer for the Midcoast Hunger Prevention Program and the South Shore PMC Kids Ride. Last summer, along with working for Moving Leaders Forward, she worked as an intern at Sidekicks International, a company creating an interactive application for children with autism. In her free time, Julia likes to meet new people, spend time with family and friends, adventure in Vermont, and eat good food!
